11 Must-Read Social Media Resources

Normally we dedicate our Friday posts to a “link recap.” Based on retweets and replies to the content Crowdbooster tweets out each week, we generate about ten links for our followers in case they missed the buzz online. Recently, we’ve gotten a lot of questions from our followers about where we look to for insightful social media content aside from giant media blogs such as Mashable or Adage. So this week we’ve decided to switch it up a bit. Below are fantastic blogs to keep up on news related to everything social media. This list is in no way exhaustive so feel free to comment any other suggestions.

Brian Solis
It’d be an understatement to say Brian Solis is well known around the social media marketing community. He’s a leader in gauging the effects of emerging media on businesses, publishing, and culture. Find out how social media is extending beyond online communities with “The Hashtag Economy” and “Opportunity Clicks: Social Media and Converting Clicks into Action.” 

Convince & Convert
Jay Baer at Convince & Convert ensures that his readers understand social media, specifically as it relates to B2B digital marketing and PR strategies. You can also catch Jay at any number of social media conferences; his presentations never fail to disappoint. This past week we tweeted out “Measuring Facebook Fan Engagement Beyond the Like” but be sure to also read over “4 Steps to Drive Sales with Social FAQ” as you put together a strategy for follower engagement. 

Dan Zarella
